Welcome Georgia Taylor

2018 sees the addition of another new arrival to the Global Action team – welcome to our Schools Engagement Manager, Georgia Taylor.

Georgia studied American Studies and Politics at the University of Manchester and spent a semester abroad at the University of Michigan, America.  After graduating, she went back to the USA to teach water sports to students. Georgia is used to working with schools and students having previously been a Regional Manager for an Educational Rewards Company and has also worked at a local School Summer Sports Camp.

A PADI qualified Scuba Diver, Georgia has had the opportunity to travel extensively including: South Africa, India, Thailand, The Middle-East, The Caribbean (living and working in Trinidad and Tobago) and Europe.

Georgia strongly believes in the Global Action aims, especially around environmental issues and sustainable practices. She has a passion for everything to do with the water and is a big supporter of educating future generations about ocean conservation.

Georgia is really excited about making a difference, and educating students, schools and parents to engage with poverty, social inequalities, political and conservation. Georgia says “the more people that learn about these issues, the easier they will be to overcome.”
